The episode before the current one was titled “Dance the Night” and began with Inori’s ice-skating agency preparing to travel for the training camp that was to be organized soon. While everyone else told great assertions, Rioh cast a grim stare at every member of the agency.
While the girls wound down after bathing and re-entering their rooms, Tsukasa decided to grant himself some space at the public baths. However, Tsukasa was surprised when Rioh was standing watch outside the room at curfew time. In silence, they both entered the bath for their enjoyment until Tsukasa, in a roundabout way, finally asked Rioh why he was not practicing for anything specific.
After considerable thought, Rioh asked Tsukasa what his badge’s rank was. To Rioh’s shock, Tsukasa was still on a preliminary badge. Thereupon, Rioh berated Tsukasa to stop teaching him since it was impossible for someone of a higher rank to have a student of such lower differentiation. Although Tsukasa took the statement to heart, he vowed to have Rioh eat his words through practice.
The very next day, when everyone was making strides in their practice, Rioh tripped over something. This made it possible for Tsukasa to get to the bottom of things with Rioh and hear just how the boy had been trying to emulate Yodoka Jun, an Olympic medalist. Disregarding the boy’s discontent, however, Tsukasa whisked him off back to the ice rink, asserting that Rioh would have to do his normal practice after the others had gone to their rooms.
What to expect from Medalist episode 12?
