Finally, official confirmation and a brand-new visual of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba – Infinity Castle film had been given after some long months of impatience, along with the 2025 promo reel. The much-awaited first part of the Infinity Castle Arc movie trilogy is believed to be premiering in Japan on July 18, 2025, in league with the full-day Corps Gathering Event held on March 1, making this announcement.
The Big Reveal: Demon Slayer’s Next Chapter Arrives This Summer
Made during the late part of the live event after the public see of the voice actors rendition of certain lines found in the anime thus far, everyone from Natsuki Hanae (Tanjiro Kamado), Takahiro Sakurai (Giyu Tomioka), Toshihiko Seki (Muzan Kibutsuji), Kana Hanazawa (Mitsuri Kanroji), Saori Hayami (Shinobu Kocho), Tomokazu Sugita (Gyomei Himejima), Kengo Kawanishi (Muichiro Tokito), Tomokazu Seki (Sanemi Shinazugawa), and Yuki Kaji (Sabito) engaged the crowd.
Their last lines come from the climax final episode of the Hashira Training Arc released in the mornings, as the story journeys the members of Muzan`s fight against infinity.
This much confirming fits with some earlier hints towards a 2025 release window, which now at the very least provides us with the expected timeline until we see a new, presumed battle of Tanjiro and the Hashiras fighting off Upper Moons and Muzan himself.

Visitors also enjoyed the debut of a new visual for the event and the posters, showing the key actors in their entwined final confrontation against demons like Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, Nezuko, Hashira, the Upper Moons, and newly introduced demons. Love how Muzan is nowhere in the group but it is the very last demon type introduced.

German CineStar Previously Listed September 25 Premiere
Being a significant moment of what the German audience had been missing: CineStar, one of the largest cinema chains in Dabby, listed “Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle” for a release date on September 25, 2025. Although the festival equivalent with the official claim had not backed up the same at that time, international fans may now hope that the movie will come out of their home theaters some months later.
Recap of the March 1 Corps Gathering Event
The Corps Gathering Event was full of interactions and activities, demonstrations by the fans, a live Demon Slayer parade, a special Rank Advancement Exam, and a free extended stream of selected episodes of the anime. The event also hosted a game preview session for Hinokami Chronicles 2 Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, set to come in 2025.
The Journey of Demon Slayer So Far
An assembly of the Japanese manga by Koyoharu Gotoge of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, illustrative by Ufotable, was sponsored by Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from February 2016 to May 2020 at 23 volumes of compilation.
Known for running 26 episodes Season 1 was produced by Studio Ufotable and aired from April 2019 through September 2019, the first season grew into a movie titled Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train and pushed possibly the biggest anime film bandwagon ever in October 2020.
Then it was reworked and shown as a part of Season 2 comprising 18 episodes, which aired from October 2021 to February 2022. Likewise, the subsequent Season 3, having only 11 episodes, aired from April to June 2023, and Season 4 aired from May to June 2024 and established the endgame.
The first of the Infinity Castle Arc belongs to a movie trilogy in production with a 2025 premier coming up. Another game called Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Hinokami Chronicles 2 is also in the making and is set for its announcement in the upcoming year. The fifth installment of the stage play will also premiere in Japan in April this year.
When Will International Fans See the Film?
Now that Japan has been able to confirm the release date for Infinity Castle on July 18, 2025, international fans should be seeing it in waves depending on their territories. Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment are distributing it internationally, and this will most likely give foreign audiences the chance to catch the film in cinema later this year. Further release dates might see the North American and European fans follow another blockbuster of the anime in late Summer or early Fall. The CineStar listing for September 25 could hint at one of the tentative dates for Western audiences to see the film.
