Sakamoto Days Season 2 Episode 7 Release date, time and more

With episode number 6, Sakamoto Days has probably given the best episodes thus far. Because of its promising excitement with episode 7 and more to come, it leaves little doubt to become one of the all-time classics. While not the most exciting episode to be had, it was a notable improvement over the largely middling efforts of episode no.5, and that, in and of itself, was something worth getting happy about.

In episode 7 of Sakamoto Days, with the store losing too much money on damages from the constant assassination attempts, Sakamoto and Shin decide to enter a local paintball competition with a cash prize big enough to fix the store. It should have been an easy task with the two of them being former assassins, but trouble quickly arose when another assassin after Sakamoto’s head entered the competition and quickly turned it into a fight for their lives. Another episode filled with great action and comedy, and surely episode 7 would even be better.

Recap from Sakamoto Days Episode 6

Sakamoto Days episode 6, “Heisuke Mashimo”, opened with the introduction of, appropriately enough, Heisuke Mashimo, another assassin after Sakamoto’s bounty, albeit one with a kind demeanor compared to the others. Heisuke, like all the other assassins, tracked down Sakamoto at the convenience store, but much to Shin’s surprise, Heisuke was stupid enough to believe that Sakamoto wasn’t the same Sakamoto he was after because of his massive weight gain. Heisuke, completely falling for the mistake, left the store feeling dejected that he missed out on yet another opportunity to make some money to support himself and his pet parrot, Piisuke.

The next day, Heisuke entered a local paintball competition to try and win a big cash prize, and since it was a team event, Sakamoto and Shin, who were also playing, took pity on Heisuke and let him join their team. Sakamoto and Shin were impressed by Heisuke’s impeccable skills with a rifle, and with him still oblivious about Sakamoto’s identity, it all seemed to be working out fine for everyone. Unfortunately, an intoxicated Lu made Heisuke realize that Sakamoto was, in fact, the same Sakamoto he was looking for, and Heisuke then turned his attention toward killing Sakamoto.

Initially, Heisuke is a danger to Sakamoto and Shin, but thanks to his unwillingness to murder their new friends, Shin and Sakamoto deduce where Heisuke is hiding and gave Sakamoto the chance to smash Heisuke’s rifle with a rock. Fight over, but Sakamoto still gave Heisuke props for his shooting skills, which is the one thing Heisuke fought for in a world where he was supposed to be more than just an assassin. He did share the prize with Heisuke, although since their fight destroyed almost everything, it really turned out to be nothing.
