Solo Leveling Season 2 -Arise From the Shadow- has brought forth a sneak peek into Episode 9 (21 overall). Jinwoo has succeeded in eliminating Demon King Baran and is now ready to proceed with the healing of his mother. More threats surface from Jeju Island, and he will have to get involved. Animation by Studio A-1 Pictures with 13 episodes confirmed in the season. The anime is being streamed by Crunchyroll.

After clearing the Demon Castle and getting the Elixir of Life, Sung Jinwoo now takes his true reward by entering his mother’s room at the hospital. However, a lingering question remains – has he crossed into an unintended realm?
On the other hand, Jinwoo is strongly pressed to go along with the raid to retrieve Jeju Island. It is a rare opportunity for massive leveling up, but images of his mother and sister, Jinah, continually plague his mind.
The anime is based on the webtoon Solo Leveling written by Chugong and DUBU from REDICE Studio, graced in the adaptation by H-goon. It tells about the world’s weakest hunter, Sung Jinwoo, who finds a way to level up in a world where doing so is otherwise impossible. He has successfully become an S-Rank and cleared the Demon King’s Castle, so it’s time for much more serious challenges.
Solo Leveling previously garnered the most votes for the most awaited anime of Winter 2024, and it also won Best New Anime at our recently finished Winter 2024 Anime Awards. This second season was then most voted as the most-awaited show for Winter 2025 this season.
