The addition of Kana Ichinose and Chiaki Omigawa to the voice-acting cast of The Beginning After the End (TBATE) has just been announced. Animation is done at Studio A-CAT with an April 2025 premiere date.
New Voice Cast in The Beginning After the End Anime
Kana Ichinose plays the role of Tessia, with Chiaki Omigawa as Jasmine, who occupies an important space in the lives of the twin-horned adventurer party as a silent dual-wielding assassin. They now join the main cast that includes Makoto Furukawa as King Grey and Natsumi Fujiwara as his new reincarnation, Arthur Leywin.
Both actresses went on to share their comments regarding their roles, written below.
Tessia Eralith: An elf girl who was taken captive by slave traders in the forest and later crossed paths with Arthur. Her upbringing made her wary and reserved, but after meeting Arthur, she gradually became more cheerful and smiled more often.
Kana Ichinose’s comment:
“Hello, I’m Kana Ichinose, and I will be playing Tessia.
Tessia is a lively and innocent girl, full of childlike charm. She’s very honest with her emotions, so I approached the role with a straightforward and honest performance.
The recording sessions were also incredibly fun, with a warm and friendly atmosphere.
With the broadcast starting in April, it will be here before we know it! I hope you’re all excited to watch!”
Jasmine Flamesworth: A member of the adventurer party “Twin Horns,” Jasmine is a former comrade of Arthur’s parents. Though quiet and sometimes struggles to socialize, she is a talented Augmenter dual-wielding blades, known for her keen observance and fast learning abilities.
*Augmenter: A mage who uses mana internally to enhance their body.
Chiaki Omigawas’s comment:
“From the moment I auditioned, I thought, “she’s so adorable!” — so I’m incredibly happy to be playing Jasmine.
I poured my heart into bringing out her sincerity and unwavering dedication, hoping that these feelings will reach all of you.

The web novel The Beginning After The End (TBATE) by TurtleMe features illustrations by Fuyuki23. The same artist made a webtoon adaptation for Tapas (digital) and Yen Press (print). Tapas describes the story:
